DON’T FEAR THE GEAR!
Your goal for this challenge is to ride the 2700 miles from New York to Los Angeles in the month of May...no, not literally! Each mile on the bike is equivalent to 10 miles on the map. Miles can be accumulated inside or outside. Track your miles at the front desk.
To complete the challenge you will need to ride an average of 27 miles per week.
Outdoor miles should be tracked with a device that records your miles (phone, GPS, fitness watch, etc.).
This is a great chance to try a Group Cycling class! Watch for additional classes and outdoor group rides all month. See the Watertown Y Cycling Club Facebook page for outdoor group rides.

See how many times you can ride your bike to the YMCA during the month of June*. Fun prizes will be awarded based on the amount of times you ride to the Y. Ride tally taken by Member Services staff when you show your bike helmet at the front desk and workout or participate in a Y program. *Please observe all rules and laws of the road.
