Beat Those Winter Blahs!

Can you believe it’s already February? Most people resolve in January to “exercise more”, “lose weight” or “get fit”. While you might not be motivated by your New Year’s resolution anymore, there are plenty of options to get you moving here at the Watertown Y. For beginners, we have the “Coach Me” program, a basic exercise program with one-on-one instruction once a week, to get you into the habit of exercising. In the cardio area, we have the “Are you fit as a Firefighter?” step challenge. The new Climb Mill gets you sweating and burning lots of calories while strengthening your leg muscles. With over 40 hours a week of group exercise classes with excellent instructors to ensure a great workout, you are sure to find several that fit your style. We also have ACE certified personal trainers that will take you to the next level and hold you accountable so you can reach your fitness goals. There’s no excuse! Make the Y the place that you exercise more, lose weight and get fit in February!
